Tacos (Tah-kos): Tortilla, folded and fried crispi, filled witrh meat, lettuce and cheese.

Chalupas (Shah-lu-paz): Flat corn tortilla with fried beans and cheese, topped with guacamole salad.

Enchiladas (En-chee-lah-dash): Tortilla filled with seasoned fillings topped with sauce and cheese.

Chile Relleno (Chi-lay Ray-ya-nohos): Poblanos peppers stuffed with cheese and egg batter.

Frijoles Refritos (Free-hol-ays Ray-free-tahs): Refried Beans.

Tostadas (Tohs-tah-daz): Flat corn tortilla topped with beef, lettuce, cheese and tomatoes.

Chimichangas (Chie-me-Chan-ka): A deep-fried burrito topped with nacho cheese and special sauce.

Quesadilla (Kay-sa-dee-yah): Flour tortilla folded and filled with cheese then fried in batter.

Flautas or Taquitos (Flau-tahs): A corn tortilla rolled around chicken or beef and deep fried.

Guacamole (Wahkah-mo-lay): Mashed avocado Mexican tradition.

Flan Mexican (Flahn): Custard with melted sugar on top.

Sopapillas (So-pah-pee-yahas): A flour tortilla crispy with sugar and cinnamon.

Pico de Gallo:-Combination of diced tomatoes, onions and cilantro.

Chorizo (cho-rey-zho): Medium spiced pork sausage.

Tortillas (Tor-tee-yahs): These corn or flour pancakes are used as a base for many dishes.

Tamales (Tha-mah-lahs): Savory pork filling steamed in corn meal and wrapped in a corn husk.

Nachos (Nah-chos): Melted cheese with jalapeno peppers and toasted tortilla chips.

Burritos (Bur-ree-tows): Flour tortilla rolled around beef tips and topped with onions sauce.
